Forged steel socket welded joint

Pipe fitting is a general term for the parts and components connected, controlled, deflected, shunt, sealed and supported in the Pipe system. According to end connections, steel pipe fittings can be divided into four categories: butt welded, socket welded, threaded and flanged. Do you know what the pipe fitting is made of?

As we know, these fittings are available in different types used in piping system and mainly consist of elbow, long radius bend, tee, reducer, union, coupling, cross, cap, swage nipple, plug, bush, expansion joint, adapters, olet, steam traps, and flanges. According the pipe end connection, the pipe fitting can be divided into butt weld fittings, socket weld fittings, threaded fittings and pipe flange. Here today we will introduce the commonly used socket weld fittings for you.
